CFL paper and workshop at Advances in Architecural Geometry 2014 at UCL

The City Form Lab will be delivering a paper and conducting a workshop at the 2014 Advances in Architectural Geometry conference at University College London (UCL) from September 18-21.  The presentation and workshop introduce participants to a new RhinoPython library developed at CFL for generating grid-structures on double curved surfaces. The work , which grew out of the SUTD Gridshell Project is currently also used for developing an exhibit structure for the Singapore URA gallery, where a complex curved structure is achieved from flat cardboard panels using simple 2D cutting .
